- Build Machine Competition – Conducted at KLEIT, Hubli, and the team comprising Preetham, Guruprasad, Purushottam, and Naveen won the 3rd prize.
- GMU Jnana Yuddha Quiz – Organized by GM University, Davanagere, Preetham and Guruprasad secured the 1st prize.

- Visit to Indian Institute of Science (IISc) Open Day 2025 – The students and faculty members of the Mechanical Engineering Department visited the Indian Institute of Science (IISc), Bengaluru, to participate in the IISc Open Day 2025 held on March 1, 2025.
- Visit to IMTEX 2025 (Indian Machine Tool Exhibition) - The Department of Mechanical Engineering Faculty and Technical Staff visit to IMTEX 2025, one of Asia's largest exhibitions dedicated to metal cutting, forming, manufacturing technology, and automation on January 28, 2025.
- Industrial Visit to VRL Logistics Ltd., Varur, Hubballi on 11th April 2025.

SAE Collegiate Club Inaugurated – October 25, 2025
The Department of Mechanical Engineering proudly inaugurated the SAE Collegiate Club at GM University on October 25, 2025. The establishment of this club marks a significant milestone in promoting automotive engineering, mobility research, and student innovation on campus.
